畢業於美國明尼蘇達大學、之後繼續於洛杉磯音樂家學院MI(Musicians Institute)進修並榮獲榮譽學生。畢業後繼續在MI校擔任助教以及在洛杉磯地區從事教學工作等音樂活動。而後回日本在MI-Japan名古屋校擔任教師，2003年來到台灣。
在演出方面，曾在中正紀念堂、國家戲劇院、國家音樂廳、國慶晩會、美國Memphis BB King’s、東京次郎吉(JIROKICHI)、日本Miya Jazz Inn Festival、東京汐留Blue Mood、東京荻窪Rooster、横須賀Younger Than Yesterday、台中爵士音楽節、台北爵士音楽節、世界音楽節＠台湾、美国紐約市立大学、美国紐約 Flushing Town Hall、香港光華新聞文化中心、還有印尼、新加坡、泰國、韓国、北京等的地方表演。
並曾和世界知名貝斯手Nathan East、Grammy葛來美獎歌手Hazel Payne、世界知名吉他手Jack Lee、藍調女王KoKo Tayler樂團吉他手菊田俊介先生、前IBC世界冠軍Ken”Snowman”Minahan、 同IBC 世界冠軍Joey Gilmore、 Boogie的大王Mitch Woods、 阿根廷藍調王Gabriel Gratzer、 斯洛伐克藍調王Peter Radvanyi、藍調口琴大師Matthew Kelly、 藍調吉他大師Rich Harper、爵士薩克斯風大師James Carter, 爵士鋼琴大師 Jeff Lorber、爵士吉他大師Jeff Richman、紐西蘭毛利族最受稱讚的歌手Whirimako Black, 印尼明星歌手Sandhy Sondoro、葛來美獎小提琴手Jamii Szmadzinski 、等世界知名樂手共同演出。 2005年在「克萊斯勒&ICRT爵士比賽」獲得冠軍。也成為Cadeson凱徳森楽器的代言人。
現在住在台灣自己楽団Dafu”OJS48”Project! 的活動之外還有担任金曲奨歌手謝宇威樂團鼓手、也跟著金曲奨琵琶手連珮如、金曲奨歌手以莉高露、出名鋼琴&歌手阮丹青、代表台湾的作詞家林煌坤老師等一起合作從事常態性的職業演出。
Graduated from the University of Minnesota in US / Graduated from the music school MI(Musicians Institute) in Los Angeles as an Honor student and became an assistant instructor of the school also started music activity in the LA area.
After returning to Japan, became a teacher of the Ml Japan Nagoya school. Came to Taiwan in 2003.
So far inTaiwan have played at the National Concert Hall, National Theater, CKS Memorial Hall, National Foundation Day concert, Taichung Jazz Festival, Taipei Jazz Festival, World Music Festival etc. In US have played at the BB King’s, City University of New York, Flushing Town Hall in NY etc. In Japan have played at the Jirokichi club, Blue Mood in Tokyo, Ogikubo Rooster in Tokyo, Younger Than Yesterday in Yokosuka, Miya Jazz Inn Festival, Slow Blues in Nagoya etc. Also have played in Hong Kong, Beijing, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, Singapore etc.
So far played with the world famous bassist Nathan East, Grammy Award singer Hazel Payne, Grammy Award Violinist Jamie Szmadzinski, world famous guitarist Jack Lee, The Queen of the blues KoKo Tayler band’s guitarist Shun Kikuta, World famous saxophonist James Carter, World famous keyboardist Jeff Lorber, World famous guitarist Jeff Richman, Legendary Maori tribe singer Whirimako Black, Famous Indonesian singer Sandhy Sondoro, Ex IBC Champion Ken”Snowman Minahan, Ex IBC Champion Joey Gilmore, Boogie master Mitch Woods, Argentina blues master Gabriel Gratzer, Slovakian blues master Peter Radvanyi, Blues harp master Matthew Kelly, West coast blues master Rich Harper etc.
In Taiwan organized the Jazz band Dafu”OJS48”Project! Also in charge of the drummer of Golden Melody Award singer 謝宇威band, Working with a Golden Melody Award singer 以莉高露、Golden Melody Award 琵琶奏者連珮如、出名鋼琴手＆歌手阮丹青etc. In 2005 won the Chrysler & ICRT Jazz Contest, Endorser of Cadeson drums.

Edu has been teaching music at Yamaha’s IMT school, Weimar music school, Pulso music school, FOSC (Chamberi’s symphonic orchestra) and many others as drums, cajon and percussion teacher and head of percussion department for more than 20 years, as well as teaching guitar, bass and piano.
He’s been involved in the creation and conduct of student bands, helping them to prepare to perform and develop through the music industry. He’s helped students from the early age of 3 to elder age (60+), as well as students with disabilities, to seed the ability to understand music and have fun with it, develop a sense of rhythm and fine-tune the ear to dip them into this fantastic world. He strongly believes in the importance of having fun throughout the process of learning music to avoid burnouts: “Only by loving music you’ll be willing to let it in your life”.
Other than this he’s all-rounder musician that and performing all around the world with dozens of artists and bands and very involved in the music community anywhere he is at. Has he composed music for TV shows, commercials, documentaries and he’s been awarded as the best drummer for Emergenza international festival both in Madrid and London. Studied in the EMC in Madrid and the BIMM in London and was awarded with merit. He’s got distinction in the highest level of the Rock School exam.
Edu在雅馬哈IMT學校、魏瑪音樂學院、Pulso音樂學校、FOSC（恰門貝里交響樂團）等地教授音樂已經有超過20年的經驗，他擔任鼓、木箱鼓和打擊樂教師，並擔任打擊樂部門主管，同時也教授吉他、貝斯和鋼琴。
他積極參與學生樂隊的創立和指導，幫助他們準備演出，並通過音樂產業的發展促進他們的成長。他幫助過從3歲到60歲以上的學生，包括殘障學生，培養他們對音樂的理解能力和樂趣，發展節奏感，並通過調整聽力帶領他們進入這個奇妙的世界。他堅信在學習音樂的過程中享受樂趣的重要性，以避免過勞：“只有熱愛音樂，你才會願意讓它融入你的生活”。
此外，他也是一位多才多藝的音樂家，在世界各地與數十位藝術家和樂隊演出，並積極參與當地的音樂社群。他為電視節目、商業廣告、紀錄片創作音樂，並曾在馬德里和倫敦的Emergenza國際音樂節上獲得最佳鼓手獎。他在馬德里的EMC和倫敦的BIMM學習，並獲得了優異獎。他在Rock School考試中取得了最高級別的成績。

自由打擊樂表演藝術者，比利時魯汶藝術大學木琴、擊樂劇場及室內樂碩士，師事Dr. Ludwig Albert教授。2019年起創辦ENJOY STUDIO並積極進行戲劇與音樂的跨界藝術，先後製作「醉生夢死」、「歸途」及「月光之下」打擊樂實驗劇場音樂會。
斜槓國際打擊樂活動策劃工作者及打擊樂教師，曾擔任比利時世界木琴大賽行政秘書、比利時國際青少年打擊樂大賽執行總監、香港國際敲擊樂節行政總監、世界華人打擊樂節暨青少年打擊樂大賽執行秘書、台灣打擊樂協會藝術行政秘書，並曾在海內外多家打擊樂器公司擔任專業顧問及口譯人員。在台期間曾任教於台北市私立復興實驗高級中學、桃園南門國小，並與樂器公司、華梵大學進修推廣部合作開設過多次為初學者設計的舒活減壓擊樂課程、幼兒音樂探索啟蒙課程及音樂欣賞講座。
曾任美國加州打擊樂團及育音教育基金會海外打擊樂教師、比利時馬林巴木琴計畫合作執行總監、台灣豪聲樂器專業藝術顧問，並受邀至比利時、葡萄牙、美國、馬來西亞、香港進行演出、訪問或授課。
現為ENJOY STUDIO藝術總監、Podcast節目「音樂吹吹風」主持人、吃好的友善耕作合作藝術家、節慶長笛團特約打擊樂家。
Percussionist, she obtains her master’s degree in solo marimba specialization, percussion theatre, and chamber music at Leuven University College of Arts in Belgium, with marimba virtuoso Ludwig Albert. She is the co-founder of “The Belgian Marimba Group” and plays with famous marimbists Chin-Cheng Lin, Jelle Dewulf, Kjell De Raes, Siemen Van Gucht, and Juris Azers. Since 2019, she founded “ENJOY STUDIO” as the artistic director and holds a series of experimental percussion theater concerts.
She had been invited as a guest professor of “The Ludwig Albert International Marimba Academy” in Belgium, Portugal, and Taiwan. She was the oversea percussion teacher of “The U Music Education Foundation” in California, USA.
Joy is also an international percussion event manager. She was invited as the executive director of “International Hong Kong percussion Convention”, the artistic secretary of “Taiwan Percussion Association” and executive secretary of “Universal Chinese Percussion Festival and Youth Percussion Competition”, the executive director of the “Universal Marimba Competition & Festival Belgium” and the jury president “International Percussion Youth Competition” and she is also the artistic consultant in several musical instruments company.
