【Bio】
2011年獲取美國休士頓大學高額獎學金-音樂表演藝術碩士-大提琴演奏, 師事俄羅斯大提琴家-姆斯蒂斯拉夫·羅斯卓波維奇Mstislav Rostropovich的大提琴子弟-Vagram Saradjian, 在 University of Houston 碩士畢業後考取同校博士班並獲得高額獎學金。
自2012年在學期間於德州休士頓多間音樂學校擔任大提琴/鋼琴/音樂欣賞老師, 在大休士頓地區擔任after school program音樂老師以及樂團分部教師, 並於活躍於各大活動場合以及管弦樂團擔任演出。
在美期間從事音樂演奏和教學工作長達9年, 台灣美國教學經驗長達14-15年, 除此之外在美期間常受邀駐休士頓台北經濟文化辦事處官邸演出, 台灣國慶活動演出, 婚禮宴會場所, 教會活動場合以及各大美南協會團體活動表演。
教學對象自學齡前幼童四歲到年長著七十多歲皆有, 美國鈴木音樂協會受訓認證教師採用鈴木音樂教學法 suzuki music method, 可全程英文授課和雙語授課, 輔導學生參加美國/德州區域性音樂比賽以及英國皇家音樂證書檢定考取, 除教授大提琴鋼琴一對一課程和團體班之外也於美國休士頓松年學院教授音樂欣賞課程。

【Teaching Philosophy】
Music teaches us about the art of leadership and the deeper layers of everyday life. I would like to guide my students as they explore the lessons of purpose, passion, and potentially embedded within the melodies around my classes. To achieve such a goal:
1) Individual attention is placed on each student to bring out his/her true capability.
2) Learning programs are based on the passionate and curious search for the fun of music along the journey.
3) A teacher-student relationship is at the heart to establish positive interactions which further enhance students’ learning experience.
音樂教會我們領導藝術和日常生活的更深層。我想指導我的學生探索目標、激情、和潛藏在我課堂周圍的旋律中。要實現這樣的目標：
1) 個人關注每個學生，以發揮他/她的真正能力。
2) 學習計劃是基於對旅途中音樂樂趣的熱情和好奇的探索。
3) 師生關係是建立積極互動的核心，進一步提升學生的學習體驗。
【Bio】
Yu-ting Chiang is a performing cellist as well as a cello teacher in Taipei, Taiwan. With a solid education in classical music performance (cello), Ms. Chiang received her master’s degree from National Chiao Tung University’s Institute of Music and started her cello teaching career as a graduate student. To date, Ms. Chiang has been a cello teacher for almost 10 years and always enjoyed mutual interactions with her students. As for her performing career, her study under Taiwan’s top-tier cellists in schools and instructions given by global masters, such as Julian Arp, Axel Salmona, Thomas Landshoot, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Shigeo Neriki, and David Finckel, provided her with outstanding performing skills, which won her the prizes in the competitions of New Taipei City Music Stars (as a piano-trio cellist) and of NewArt Young Star Musicians (as a solo cellist). Later on, her interest extended into popular music, and has served as a cellist in a pop band, played for musicals, and accompanied singers’ concerts. She even demonstrated herself as well as her cello performance in various TV commercials, TV dramas, and microfilms. Nowadays, Ms. Chiang is seamlessly switching between the roles of a teacher and a performer. Her cello, moreover, is being played lively across classical and popular music.
Yu-ting Chiang是台灣台北的大提琴演奏家和大提琴老師。憑藉紮實的古典音樂演奏（大提琴）教育，Yu-ting Chiang 在國立交通大學音樂學院獲得碩士學位，並以研究生的身份開始了她的大提琴教學生涯。時至今日，Yu-ting Chiang 已經擔任大提琴老師近十年了，她總是喜歡和可愛的學生們相互交流。在演藝事業上，從台灣頂級大提琴家，並得到Julian Arp, Axel Salmona, Thomas Landshoot, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Shigeo Neriki, and David Finckel 等全球大師的指導，讓她擁有出色的表演技巧，在新北市音樂之星（作為鋼琴三重奏大提琴手）和 NewArt Young Star Musicians（作為大提琴獨奏家）比賽中獲獎。後來，她的興趣擴展到流行音樂，並在流行樂隊中擔任大提琴手，為音樂劇演奏，並為歌手的音樂會伴奏。她甚至在各種電視廣告、電視劇和微電影中展示了自己以及她的大提琴演奏。如今，Yu-ting Chiang 在老師和表演者的角色之間無縫切換。此外，她的大提琴在古典音樂和流行音樂中得到了熱烈的演奏。
